Return/Refund Policy


At The Humble Butterfly, LLC, we truly value your business. Our goal is to provide our customers with world class quality customer service. If you (or your gift recipient) are not completely satisfied with the quality of a delivered product please contact our customer service department immediately.  Your complete satisfaction is our goal.

If a shelf-stable item purchase is returned to us new, undamaged, and in original packaging within 14 days of delivery, we will refund your order total and less our costs for shipping and handling each way.  However, please be mindful of the following details regarding returns:

Policy for Cancelled Orders
An order cannot be cancelled once it has been shipped.  If you decide to cancel after shipment, our standard refund policy applies. 

Refund Policy for Shelf Stable Orders marked as "Undeliverable".                       We ship to the address that each customer enters on our site.  If our delivery provider returns an order that is deemed "undeliverable" due to refusal of delivery or an incorrect address being supplied at the time the order is placed, any refund offered will be less our costs for shipping and handling each way.  If another delivery attempt  is requested, the customer will also be charged for shipping to the correct location.  For the purpose of this policy, the term "incorrect address" includes but is not limited to missing suite, apartment, building numbers, incorrect street, city, or state names, or any other missing or incorrect information that causes the order to be deemed undeliverable.  If corrections to an address need to be made after an order has shipped, additional fees will likely apply.

Refund Policy for Perishable Items
If a perishable item is returned to us marked as “undeliverable”* we cannot offer a refund. Unfortunately, unlike items that have a longer shelf life, items that are perishable are unable to be resold after they are sent back to us.

Refund Policy for Damaged Products
If a product arrives damaged or with items missing (without substitution), please notify us within 7 days.  We would be happy to send you (or the recipient) a replacement as soon as possible.  Please keep in mind that missing items may have been substituted.

Substitution Policy
For a variety of reasons, on a very rare occasion, we will run out of a specific item. While this situation does not occur often, we reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value.
